Technology, according to Wikipedia, is the sum of techniques, skills, methods, and processes used in the production of goods or services or in the accomplishment of objectives, such as scientific investigation. Wherever we go, we are always surrounded by technology. They have made our daily activities so easy that we cannot imagine our life without them. We always carry smartphones, laptops, smartwatches and so on. Cars, airplanes, light bulbs, nuclear power plants are different form of technology based on science. They have become a part of our life.

The simplest form of technology is the development and use of basic tools. With the discovery of fire, and Neolithic Revolution, increased the available sources of food and gave humans a means to control their surroundings. Also, the invention of wheels helped humans to travel vast distances in short period of time making their journey easier. With the invention and development of technologies such as printing press, telephone, internet and so on has made global communication faster and easier. One can search about the conditions of the another part of the world whereas,the development of hydropower and discovery of nuclear fission helped us with high amount of electricity and microscopes helped us to study microorganisms and cells. This aided us to study many diseases and cure them. Telescopes gave us view of our universe and learn about the cosmos.

There is not a single place in our world which is unaffected or untouched by technology. By using computers and advanced machinery, it is now possible to reach even deeper part of our planet and fly higher than ever. Right now, it is considered that AI(Artificial Intelligence) and advanced robots may be developed and one day might take our jobs. Solar power will be used to power almost everything in our planet and we might be able to colonize other planets. All these are possibilities are assumptions and might be real in the future. Theories of technology often attempt to predict the future of technology based on the high technology and science of the time. As with all predictions of the future, however, technology is uncertain.
