Creativity

Creativity is a phenomenon where new ideas are developed and formed. It is the ability to think outside of the box where no one tends to look at. Almost every creature in this planet has this natural character in it. Humans are the most creative of them and that is why we dominate this planet. Creative people have the ability to devise new ways to carryout tasks, solve problems and meet challenges.

Humans have two hemisphere in their brain. One is left hemisphere which controls right part of our body and performs logical thinking such as problem solving in science and mathematics whereas right hemisphere has to do with creative thinking such as in Arts. As an example, we can study about  Leonardo da Vinci  who was a creative as well as a logical thinker. Both of his hemispheres were highly active and as a result, he was brilliant in Science, Mathematics, Arts, Music, Engineering, Sculpture and so on. Steve Jobs once said that, Creativity is just connecting the dots. It means being able to connect the past experiences and synthesizing new things, ideas and inventions.

We, as humans, can evolve. We can be creative than we are right now. To be more creative, we have to change our thinking pattern. We have to solve our problems differently while others take the same pattern and approach. It requires innovative thinking, being able to think differently, something new or entirely different. But at first, careful observation and research is necessary. Without these qualities, we cannot understand the problem which becomes frustrating. There are certain skills for creative thinking which includes organizing ideas, being open-minded, problem solving and communication. All of these when put together can promote creativity. Also, people think the field of STEM is not creative and it is opposite of arts. However, the converse is true. It is a highly creative field. For example, designing robots and developing new programs require creative thinking. Science, Arts, Literature are interconnected with each other. So, people should try at least one of these subjects.

To sum up, creativity is a natural ability inside each and every human being. We just have to know the field in which we are interested in and every person can train their brain and themselves to be more creative.
